Recipe for mince curry to be served with freshly made flaky roti
Ingredients:
- 1 kg mince
- Oil
- 2 onions
- 3 curry leaves
- 1 tsp Kashmiri spice
- 1 tsp Mother-in-law spice
- 1 tsp medium roasted masala
- 1 tsp borrie (turmeric)
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp garlic
- 4 potatoes
- Fresh coriander
Method
- Heat oil in a large pot, enough to cover the base
- Add finely chopped onion and curry leaves.
- Allow to simmer until onions are soft and translucent.
- Add all the spices and cook until well blended.
- Add the ginger and garlic and stir well.
- Cook until sauce has browned slightly.
- Now add the well rinsed and drained mince, as well as the potatoes.
- Cook on a medium heat until potatoes are soft.
- Sprinkle with freshly chopped coriander and serve with flaky roti or white rice.
