Delicious Lamb Stew
Ingredients
- 15 ml Sunflower Oil
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 5 ml Garlic Flakes
- 10 ml Steak & Chops Spice
- 5 ml Sunflower Oil
- 45 ml Flour
- 10 ml Brown Onion Seasoning
- 45 ml Tomato Paste
- 4 Carrots chopped
- 500 ml Water
- 800 g Lamb Neck cut in pieces
- 3 Potatoes
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot and fry onion together with Garlic Flakes and Steak & Chops Spice until soft.
- In a separate bowl mix lamb neck together with cake flour Brown Onion Seasoning until well coated.
- When onions are fried add another tsp of oil to the pot then add the lamb and fry until lamb is well browned.
- Then add the tomato paste, carrots, potatoes and water and stir well.
- Cover pot with a lid and allow to simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
- Serve with rice or pap.
